For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows grace and favor and glory - honor, splendor and heavenly bliss! No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly.

Aloha Friday! #2

Thank you so much to those of you who answered my question last time: What are some fun activities to do with a Toddler? I got some great answers that I was able to work into my routine with them, and we've had a much happier week this week! So THANK YOU!!! You have no idea how much you helped me!

From An Island Life:

In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.

I thought I'd take it easy this week and write a more "fun" question. For those of you who garden out there, do you plan to have a vegetable garden this year? And if so, what do you plan to plant?

My Answer: I have loads and loads of seeds just waiting for April! Cucumbers, radishes, onions, chives, basil, green beens, corn, lettus, and carrots. Plus I have some marigolds and bell pepper plants on my kitchen counter that I've started from seeds! This year will be my VERY FIRST garden and I'm so excited!!!

If you'd like to participate in Aloha Friday, just head on over to An Island Life!

I would love to try planting a vegetable garden but we don't really have the room for it. Yours sounds great!

I think my hubby and oldest son are going to try something. We have had troubles with birds and bunnies getting plants in the past.

I have no room for a vegetable garden where I live - in a condo on the golf course, but if I did - it would be big, juicy tomatoes (I know, I can try to grow them in a pot on my deck??!!) and green and red peppers and asparagus!

Aloha Friday sounds fun! We are planning on a larger garden this year than last year & I can not wait!!!!

I am so sorry about the Publix. I had no idea it was only for SE folks - UGH! I wish there was a way to share the crafts with you. Tell you what - if we make some of the crafts (and I plan to) I will blog with tutorials!

No garden, however last year we did plant a kalamansi (mini lemon) tree, guava tree and mango tree around our back yard. The kalamansi tree is doing great, however the other two...not so sure. Hopefully jack frost didn't get the best of them!

Haven't done a garden for a few years although I used to. I liked to plant sweet peas, tomatoes & green peppers to name a few.

This is my first spring in our new home up in the mountains and I am not sure what the heck grows up here. I love to garden but I also worry about the critters (we pretty much live in the forest) and what will happen to my plants.
I guess... I am not sure. That would be the short answer. :)

I really need to plan a garden. But every year, the tomatoes take everything over!

I have lots of seeds. Some of the ones I'm going to try this year are napa cabbage, radishes, and spaghetti squash. I have artichokes and rubarb that keep coming back without any effort from me.

You'll love having fresh vegetables!
