Dear Ziva,
I know you're only two. I know you have boundless energy and a relentless curiosity about the world around you. I know that you have this drive inside of you to explore the world in a hostile takeover fashion. I know. Believe me, I know.
But could you please oh please stop exploring your diaper contents during nap time? It may seem like a great place to find art supplies, but it's yucky Honey. Really REALLY yucky!
Thanks so much,
Your Momma

My first two were bad about doing that, way back in 1857-1959! I remember it (and I remember the smell) to this day. My oldest "painted" his nursery wall one day when I thought he was sleeping. Husband and I had to take turns holding our noses, running into the room, quick wipe with a wet cloth, run back out before we had to take a breath!
oh. no. i have been there. lol. boy have i been there.
LOL! Leann has started playing in her diaper too. Thankfully, she hasn't used it for art (yet, fingerscrossed).
You know, it's one of those things you tell yourself, "No, my kids will NEVER do something like that!!" And then they do.
Today was her 4th time with the poop. I really hope it's the last but it probably won't be.
And Annie, that is EXACTLY how it was on the 3rd mess! The smell was so bad we had to open a window, vacuum, air freshener, you name it... it was BAD!
Bless your heart! I had the same problem with my 2 year old daughter. Two things that I learned, first was that she can still get into a Pull-up but it takes a lot longer and gives us a better chance of catching her. But then, that goodness, I discovered that she cannot get her hands inside a bathing suit to explore her diaper. It fits snug but is not uncomfortable at all. Plus she looks super cute and loves wearing it. Yep, one piece swimwear is her new nap time attire LOL
I have a friend who was dealing with the same thing but her twins would switch off playing in their diapers, she ended have to put them in zip up pj's backwards so they couldnt reach the zipper during nap and bedtime. :)
My 2 year old did just this at nap time not too long ago and thankfully (fingers crossed!) she has not tried it since. It was not what I expected to find when I went in to check on her! My boys never did this but my little girl on the other hand gets into EVERYTHING!!! For your sake (and your nose!) I hope she looses interest here soon.
