Quick & To the Point

I spent the day cleaning. I fully expected everyone to be well today, as they were yesterday, but it was not to be. Anya awoke covered in yuck, and I had kids to bathe and messes to clean up before my morning cup of coffee. Super fun week... NOT! Thankfully she's been ok since then, so double cross your fingers and toes that she's done with this!

After talking to Hubs when he woke up this afternoon I thought maybe, just maybe, I'd be able to get my new vacuum today. But after he talked to the guy at the store on the phone he decided that it was probably a trip we'd have to take together, and that it wouldn't happen today because I had Church tonight.

Yup! That's right! I'm goin' to Church tonight! I'm all dolled up and ready to go in fact, just sitting here waiting till it's time. Hubs visited this church last week and he really liked it, and since the girls are still sick we can't go this week as a family, but he still wanted me to go and see it for myself. I'm really the healthiest one in the house at this point so it seemed like an ok thing to do.

But to warn you, I didn't cook tonight. No ranch chicken. No nothin'. We had take-out Chinese food instead. So although I will probably post tomorrow, there will be no Mystery Spice Monday this week. Sorry about that. I'm really hoping to be back to my normal blogging schedule soon.
