For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows grace and favor and glory - honor, splendor and heavenly bliss! No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly.

Way Back When-endsay - A Day at the Beach

Sometimes it's good to get away.

Even if it's only for 2 days.

Just so you can remember how you got there in the first place.

Just the two of us, before there were 4 of us.

It's important.

And sometimes it's good to look back to those short 2 days.

And remember what it feels like to be semi-free!

Way Back in August 2009 in Newport, OR. Seems like WAY too long ago!

Isn't that ridiculous?

Very pretty!! Wonderful pictures. It's nice to have pictures so serene to look back at when you have kids screaming, laundry to do, and the house to clean.

So true, we all need a break now and then! Love the pictures, I'm wishing I was at the beach now.

beautiful pics and such a great reminder that we have to take time for ourselves. We did a 'baby moon' before the twins were born but have only been away one day/night since then alone. I am determined to get away for our anniversary next year after I'm done nursing the baby...soooo need the time together!

I thought that beautiful place looked familiar! It's been a long time since I've been there. I also like Long Beach, Wa. Have you been?
