When: 6/19/09
The girls turned 2 last month and we're already experiencing some of the "terrible twos". It's super fun! In this picture, Anya & Ziva BOTH want to be in Mommy's lap, but unfortunately they also want Mommy all to themselves. It's a common occurrence around here, if anyone has any awesome solutions to this problem I'm all ears!

I wish I had some advice... ugh! Mine will be 3 in October and fight for my lap all the time!
Happy WBW!
You definitely have your hands full!
i don't just think that's a twins problem - my 5 year old niece can't stand for me to give her 1 year old brother any attention!
I have gotten lucky that we havent had tom any fights over mommy's lap but they dont like cuddling that much anyways besides at night time. still a cute picture
Geez, I keep reminding myself that 2 crying babies is nothing compared to what 2 temper tantruming 2 year olds will be like. And they already fight for my lap - guess we have a lot of that to look forward to!
Don't worry I have the same problem with the girls.
I like the picture, cute.
Great picture! Very funny..I am sure not at the time but looking back on it! Yes the boys fight for my lap also...but they know that there is plenty of lap to go around and they both can have a seat!
Amy, what a fun, fun picture to have captured! (You'll be glad you have it later!) LOve how you are keeping your humor regardless...that's a sign of an awesome twin mama!
Happy Way Back When-esday, and thank you so much for playing along!
Wish I did have advice but I don't. We don't have too many fights over mommy's lap, thank goodness, but we have the occasional possessiveness. I just deal with it as it comes.
Two was terrible and three was the talking-back age. I am praying four is fabulous!
So cute! Mine are 6 and still want momma's lap at the same time. I give one the left leg and one the right. That seems to help a lot! When they were 3 and both wanted "UPPIE" I would carry one on my back and one on my front. Just remember they will be teens someday and won't want you at all! I cherish every day!
After nine kids, you'd think I'd have an answer to that problem. But it's still a problem!
My brother and his family have been at our house for the last two weeks. They left this weekend. Hope you're having a great summer. I'm going to look around your blog for a picture of your garden.
